COURSE DETAILS

• Approved by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, this course meets the minimum training requirements for applicants seeking an AZ Unarmed and Armed Security Guard license.

• This training combines Online Learning, Video Conferencing, and Pistol Range Training.

• The total cost is $200, and access to the online training is immediate upon purchase. The training is available 24/7 and can be completed at your own pace.

• Online unarmed training must be completed before attending the firearms class.

• Dates and times for the firearms class and qualification course are available on our schedule and registration page. To check class availability, click here.

• Each Armed Security Guard license permits you to work only for the agency that sponsored your armed application. The agency's name will be displayed on your Armed Security Guard card.

• The expiration date of the license will be two years from the date when DPS processes the application.

Note: Rental of firearms, holster, and ammunition for use during training is available. Contact us if you need to rent a firearm or equipment. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:​

We understand that plans can change and unexpected events may arise. For in-person courses, if you are unable to attend your scheduled class, a 72-hour notice of cancellation is required to transfer your class payment to the next available session. Failure to notify VIP within this 72-hour cancellation period will result in the loss of the class payment. Only one rollover is allowed, and it must be used within three months. If you fail to attend your rollover class, the class payment will be forfeited. For online courses, once access to the course has been granted, no cancellations or transfers are allowed. However, you will have access to complete the course at your own pace, within the timeframe provided. Payments can be applied to any VIP class. Please note that all sales are final, and all of our training classes are non-refundable.
